CasinoPlex Review

casinoplex-logoThere’s the promise of many titles waiting for gamers when you play at the CasinoPlex from the best Playtech casinos, a brand that was first released back in 2003. Although the website might have totted up the years, they’re still a respectful label that has a contemporary and funky edge. So much so, in fact, that we thought it was a much newer brand than it actually is, which is a credit to the freshness of the website. Sporting 3D graphics and designs, this is a bustling environment that appears to have the aesthetics down perfectly, but what about elsewhere?

Bonuses and Promotions

When you browse the promotions section, you see that there isn’t that many to get to grips with, although that’s not to say that what’s on offer isn’t any good. On the contrary. First off, we’ll take a look at the welcome package that delivers 100% on whatever you deposit, which could equate to as much as £500. It doesn’t stop there though, as you then have a second deposit bonus that equals 150% that could become a cool £750. However, for that to happen you need to wager a specific amount, and you need to apply a 50x wagering requirement to both of these deposits, which makes the promotion a little less impressive.

There’s a few other rewards to play around with, some of which are a basic refer a friend, while others are more specific, as in daily deposit bonuses of up to 100%. Most of this is designed for returning users not newbies, which is good because it shows that CasinoPlex respects all gamers, not just newcomers. From there on in, there’s not much left besides the VIP Club, which can be found under its own heading on the homepage.

We were quite taken aback by how many levels there are to make your way through when becoming a member; everyone starts at Level 1, but there’s a total of 7 more rounds before you’ll reach the ultimate elite. As you’ll have probably gathered from how the club is worked out, this is a loyalty points system that requires you to game and bank lots of cash to then convert it into points. When you get higher up the ranks, you get better rewards and more reasons to game with CasinoPlex, such as dedicated help and unique bonuses.

Software and Casino Games

Moving onto the games now, there’s two options for you to select: Casino or Live Casino. The latter takes you to a new part of the website, however we found that it struggled to load within a reasonable amount of time. This could be due to it being a peak time, but it’s worth noting in case your preference is for virtual reality rather than the typical casino titles. Should you prefer the more basic package, you need to stick on the Casino side of the brand. There you’ll find hundreds of games, all created by Playtech.

These games are listed in different categories for ease of use, allowing you to navigate the site more efficiently. What is more, most of the activities shown are playable without being a member, all you need to ensure is that you have Flash Player or click to enable it. Being able to try out different titles prior to joining is a great way for a company to promote how open and honest they are with their players.

To gain information about the different payment methods, you’ll need to select the Cashier option, which delivers an extensive list of providers. We were most surprised to see such a varied selection, though given the age of the brand, it makes sense that they’d be that dedicated for their customers. Especially considering how much competition is now about given how varied the industry now is thanks to the growth of online gaming.

Each of the methods shown will tell you whether you can deposit and withdraw from them, as well as informing you of what currencies are allowed with each. From this, we can make an educated guess that mainly US Dollars, Euros, and British Pound Sterling are catered for; sometimes there’s others, but that doesn’t appear to be the case here. In regards to withdrawing, there’s documentation that’s needed to complete the transaction, with up to 72 hours needed for everything to go through.

Company Background and License

One of the main positives of the CasinoPlex company is how much information they have inside their About Us section. Not only does it explain that the casino has been open since 2003, but that they changed hands in 2010, showing that a rebranding as such as been experienced by some players. Alongside this there’s two licenses that regulate the brand, one from the UK Gambling Commission, and one from the Malta Gaming Authority. As if that wasn’t enough security, there’s also the added benefits of all information being SSL encrypted, to provide a further layer of security.

Consumer Service

If you liked a varied means of accessing help and support, there’s plenty of options available with CasinoPlex. Not only do they have the conventional means of telephone and emails, but there’s fax as well, which is a very niche opening but one that could appeal to some older players. There’s even information to contact affiliates if you need to enquire about marketing opportunities, something that isn’t always readily available from casino brands.

Even though everything seems to be going smoothly, there’s the issue that the help isn’t on hand 24/7, but only from 9am until midnight, which is still considerable but not quite as good as it could be.

We’re pleasantly surprised at how well CasinoPlex stands up against younger brands, and so we give this a well respected five stars. This brand has some niggling issues, as all companies do, but they’re insignificant in comparison to all the positives that we’ve covered throughout our review. If you prefer sticking with companies that have been around for some time, and therefore should have a better idea of the market, then CasinoPlex is one of the best options for you to consider.
